Construction of a new Deerfield Twp. space that developers say is “a revolutionary establishment that promises to redefine the workplace experience” kicked off Oct. 19 with a groundbreaking ceremony and celebration.

Revelance, a co-working and event space, is expected to open next summer at 8460 Duke Blvd. Renovations and expansion of an existing building will create space designed for a variety of work activities.

Revelance’s Director of Operations Kristina Forester said the site is a new twist on the shared office space concept that has become more prevalent in recent years.

“Although co-working is a familiar concept in Cincinnati, our space stands out as a distinctive offering. It combines co-working areas, private offices, a taproom, and an event center all within a single facility,” Forester said.

The building will include some unique features.

“We will provide a range of supplementary amenities that can be used either independently or in conjunction with our larger spaces. Our amenities include a golf simulator, podcast and video studio and an executive lounge, all of which contribute to the individuality of our space.”

Two other unique amenities include a wine tasting room for private events and dinners as well as a commercial kitchen suitable for private chef demonstrations and food preparation.

The first phase of construction will be to create a second level in the existing 15,000 square foot building to nearly double the floor space to 27,000 square feet. The plan then is to expand the upper level to create a rooftop patio for events and social gatherings.

Co-working space, semi-private and private offices will be available 24/7 with access to print/copy and WIFI services, flexible meeting rooms and other office amenities. The in-house taproom for happy hours, social events and other group activities is served by Sonder Brewing.

“We hope to add value to an already wonderful community and are excited to open our doors and welcome everyone in June of next year,” Forester said.
