Woman claims mother, sister robbed her

HAMILTON POLICE REPORTS

June 1

A worker with Erie Appliance told officers someone stole four appliances from his delivery truck. The suspect took a Whirlpool duet washer, a Frigidaire stack washer/dryer, an Amana bottom freezer and a Kenmore refrigerator. Officers estimate total value stolen was $900. The incident happened in the 1000 block of South Erie Boulevard.

June 3

An assault was reported in the 1100 block of Main Street. The victim said he was attacked while walking through the neighborhood. Officers observed “minor” scratches and bruising on the victim’s face.

Three people assaulted a man near the intersection of South 13th Street and Long Street. The victim said the first suspect slapped him in the face and then two other suspects punched and kicked him. The suspects also knocked the victim to the ground.

June 4

Someone stole copper pipes and wiring from a vacant house in the 1800 block of Kahn Avenue. Officers estimate the stolen items at $500.

A burglary was reported in the 400 block of North 7th Street. The victim says the suspect entered through a rear door and stole a washing machine and a stove.

Someone stole a man’s social security check from his mailbox. The theft happened at an apartment in the 1000 block of Ludlow Street.

Someone stole three boxes of chicken strips that belonged to Koch Foods. Fairfield Police stopped the suspect near the corner of Dixie Highway and Schirmer Drive. Officers say the chicken strips were returned to Koch Foods.

June 5

Officers responded to the 300 block of Main Street for a report of an assault. The victim said the suspect shoved him into a car after they got into a verbal altercation. The victim said the suspect threatened him and said, “I’m gonna bust your eyes out.”

June 2

A woman told officers her sister and mother robbed her. The incident happened near the intersection of Casper Street and North Grimes Street. The victim said her sister and mother are “heroin dependent,” and were both “high” when they approached her. The victim says her sister stole her purse and ran towards the 1700 block of Manchester Avenue. The victim said her purse contained her wallet, a social security card, a food stamp card and other miscellaneous items.

June 4

Officers arrested Anthony Lewis for possession of heroin. During a search officers found one clear cap that had brown residue that had was identified as heroin. The incident happened in the 2200 block of Hill Avenue.

June 5

Officers responded to the 4600 block of Freedom Court for a report of a young boy with burns from scalding hot water. The boy’s mother told officers her son had “scalding hot water thrown on his back side, which caused his skin to bubble up and peel off.”

A man told officers a subject identified himself as a police officer and asked him, “Do you have any females in there?” The man said no and the subject said, “I’m going to check your vehicle anyway.” According to a report the subject held up what appeared to be a police badge. Both men then drove away. The incident happened in the 2800 block of Cincinnati-Dayton Road.
