He will be house in the Butler County Jail without bond pending arraignment in Hamilton Municipal Court. Vanover has an extensive record that includes arrests for burglary, menacing, disorderly conduct and domestic violence, according to Hamilton Municipal Court records.
Buns said the knife that Vanover allegedly had was not found at the scene. A 32-year-old woman suffered an injury to the face allegedly from Vanover.
Hornschemeier and Heidorn received minor injures both in the struggle and the chase, according to police.
