A man told officers he “accidentally overdosed” on heroin. The incident happened in the 400 block of North 4th Street. Paramedics used Narcan to revive the victim.
Two suspects assaulted a man in the 500 block of Heaton Street. The victim said the suspect repeatedly hit him in the head and face. Officers say the attack left the victim with “apparent broken bones.”
A burglary was reported at an apartment in the 300 block of Hampshire Drive. The victim said the suspect stole a Chad Johnson jersey, a computer, a TV and a PlayStation 3.
Paramedics and officers responded to the 500 block of South Front Street for a report of a possible drug overdose. According to a report, the victim entered a restroom and became unconscious. Paramedics administered Narcan to revive the victim.
A woman told officers someone entered her house without permission and grabbed money from her hands and then began hitting her. The victim said the suspect hit her in the face and body multiple times. Officers observed redness and swelling to her left eye. The incident happened in the 200 block of Park Avenue.
An assault was reported in the 500 block of Prytania Avenue. The victim said the suspect punched her in the back with a “punch dagger.” Officers say she suffered a severe laceration.
Someone stole a gun valued at $1,200 from a house in the 2700 block of Hilda Avenue.
June 25
A woman told officers someone fired a gun into the air in front of her house. The incident happened in the 1100 block of Ludlow Street. The victim said the suspect then pointed the gun toward the woman’s house and fired a shot into her house. Officers observed a gunshot hole in the vinyl siding of the house.
A robbery was reported at 19 Hurm Street. The suspects forced victim #1 to withdraw money from an ATM. According to a report victim #2 was forced to stand behind victim #1 and was not permitted to leave. Officers say the suspects beat both victims, and they sustained serious injuries, including loss of teeth and apparent broken bones.

June 27
Officers responded to a Speedway gas station, 4320 Roosevelt Boulevard, for a report of a robbery. The worker told officers the suspect pointed a knife at her and demanded $100. The suspect told the worker she was being held hostage by a man in a car and that he was demanding the money.
A robbery was reported in the area of 15th avenue. The victim said the suspect put a gun to his head and told him to empty his pockets. The victim gave the suspect his money, and then immediately jumped out of a moving van, which was traveling at approximately 25 miles per hour.
Someone stole a black, 16-foot car trailer from a house in the 2800 block of North Verity Parkway. The victim said the trailer is valued at $1,500. He said someone cut off the chain and stole his trailer.
June 29
An assault was reported in the 900 block of Charles Street. The victim’s mother said her son was beaten and that she took him to Children’s Hospital in Liberty Twp. Officers said the victim had “superficial knife wounds on his chest, cut in an X pattern.” The victim also required stitches on his face and had bruising and swelling on his head.
June 30
A robbery was reported at a BP gas station, 3500 Roosevelt Boulevard. A worker told officers the suspect entered the store with a gun and demanded money. After receiving the money the suspect left the store in an unknown direction. Officers used a K-9 unit and checked the area but were unable to find the suspect.
