Middletown tobacco store reportedly robbed at gunpoint, police seek 2 suspects

Middletown police are looking for two suspects after a tobacco store robbery this morning.

Police received a call of an armed robbery at Discount Tobacco, 408 S. Breiel Blvd., at 11:34 a.m. today. Police found that two young, thin, white males entered the store wearing masks, displayed a hand gun and robbed the clerk at gun point. The men are possibly in their teens or 20s, police said.

After robbing the store, they fled to a light silver or white mini van parked on a street behind the store and fled north on Gideon Street toward Central Avenue, police said.
