Police reports: Adult granddaughter assaults grandmother

HAMILTON POLICE REPORTS

Nov. 21

  • An assault was reported at 47 Hancock Avenue. The victim said she was involved in a verbal altercation with the suspect. The victim told officers the suspect became angry and hit her with his vehicle. The victim refused medical treatment and had no visible injuries.
  • A man told officers someone vandalized his property and stole several items valued at approximately $7,000. The victim said the suspect stole 12 light fixtures, two garage bay doors and rails and one aluminum siding. The incident happened in the 600 block of High Street.
  • A robbery was reported in the 1400 block of South Erie Boulevard. The store's employee told officers the suspect concealed several items including body wash, shaving cream, razors and bleach. The employee told the suspect that police officers have been called, the suspect then shoved the employee in an attempt to leave the store.
  • Someone broke into a woman's garage and stole several tools including a saw-zall, a 12 inch sliding compact mider box and a cable compressor. The estimated value of the stolen items is $1,125. The theft happened in the 800 block of Campbell Avenue.

  • An assault was reported in the 1800 block of Parrish Avenue. The victim said the suspect cut him with a knife in at least two places. Officers observed cuts on the victim's stomach.

Nov. 22

  • Someone stole two boxes of ammunition from Rural King, 1416 Main Street. The estimated valued of the stolen items is $19.48
  • An assault was reported in the 1100 block of Hensley Avenue. Two suspects attacked the victim and knocked out his front tooth and two other teeth were knocked loose. The victim was also treated for a concussion.

MIDDLETOWN POLICE REPORTS

Nov. 20

  • Paramedics and officers responded to the 200 block of Charles Street for a report of a possible drug overdose. Officers found the victim passed out in the bathroom. Paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment.

Nov. 21

  • Officers responded to the 4200 block of Mallard Court for a report of a disturbance. The victim said her 20-year-old granddaughter assaulted her, hitting her in the head. Officers advised the suspect to stay away from the victim's residence.
  • A burglary was reported in the 2000 block of Roosevelt Avenue. The victim told officers someone stole his furnace.

Nov. 22

  • A catalytic converter was stolen from a 1992 Buick Regal in the 3200 block of Navaho Street.
  • Officers responded to the 1700 block of Bonita Drive for a report of a burglary. the victim said the suspect stole prescription pills, a video camera and a tablet. The victim told officers there were no signs of forced entry. Officers said the investigation is ongoing and charges are pending.

Nov. 24

  • A burglary was reported in the 2200 block of Trine Street. The complainant said someone stole a computer, and a 46 inch TV. Officers said the suspect entered through a side window.
