Middletown police investigate shots fired in neighborhood

Police are investigating a report of shots being fired late Friday night on Garfield Street.

Middletown police Sgt. Eric Crank said the shots were fired about 10:30 p.m. and nine to 11 shell casings were found.

No one has shown up with any injuries at any of the area medical facilities as of late Saturday morning.

No other information was available and the incident remains under investigation.
