The woman was loaded into an ambulance at the scene.
Police no longer have their guns drawn and are clearing the scene.

Some residents at the Landings at Beckett Ridge in West Chester Twp. have been evacuated from their apartments as a standoff continues.
Residents told our crew at the scene that police told them to leave their building this afternoon. Many are at the complex’s clubhouse while police remain on the scene.
UPDATE @ 1:50 p.m.:
According to West Chester Twp. spokeswoman Barb Wilson the township received a call asking for a welfare check at the apartment complex at around noon.
“When they went to check on the individual there was a female in the unit with a gun pointed to her head,” Wilson said. “So police are talking with her now.”

A heavy police presence has responded to an apartment complex in West Chester Twp.
Multiple fire trucks, police vehicles and an armored police vehicle are at the Landings at Beckett Ridge in West Chester, according to our news crew at the scene.
The apartment complex is located at 8251 Landings Blvd., just off Smith Road.
Police at the scene said they are unable to release any information at this time.
We have reached out to West Chester Twp. for comment.
