$100,000 in lawn equipment stolen

Thieves stole a 20-foot enclosed trailer and red Dodge pickup truck, both with the company’s name of the side, and about $100,000 in equipment sometime Saturday night from A-1 Landscaping and Lawn Service, according to the Trenton Police Department.

Detective Sean Gill said he believes the theft occurred between 9 and 10:30 p.m. Saturday. He said the items were discovered missing by the owners on Monday morning.

He said someone cut the lock off the fence at the landscaping company, on Alan B. Shepard Street, and stole the bright red truck, trailer, mowers, blowers and weed eaters, all valued at about $100,000.

Gill said the department has received no possible leads and has made no arrests. The department is asking residents to look for the pickup truck and trailer and for the lawn equipment to be for sale on social media.

He said anyone with information about the theft is asked to call an anonymous tip line at 513-428-0111 or Trenton police at 513-988-6341.
