The city of Franklin will close its government offices Wednesday for the National Day of Mourning in remembrance of President George H.W. Bush.
Franklin Mayor Todd Hall made the announcement during Monday’s council meeting.
Also closed on Wednesday are government offices in Franklin Twp., Madison Twp. and Hamilton Twp.
No other government administrative offices in Butler or Warren counties planned to close Wednesday, according to a survey conducted by the Journal-News.
