5 Butler County road closings that will impact your drive this week

Several projects will close Butler County roads this week, including:

HAMILTON:

Hampshire Drive from High Street to Michael Avenue will be closed Tuesday, April 24, from 8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Residents along that stretch of road will also experience a temporary water service interruption during this time. Residents impacted are located on Summit Ridge Court, Hampshire Court, Brook Hollow Apartments, Indian Springs Apartments, 321 Michael Drive and the 300 and 400 blocks of Hampshire Drive.

HAMILTON: 

Elm Street from North Erie Boulevard to Heaton Street will be closed from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, April 23, through Friday, April 27.

The road closure is necessary to perform concrete restoration as part of the 2017 Miscellaneous Gas Main Replacement Project, according to the city.

HAMILTON:

Maple Avenue between S. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Witt Way will be subject to westbound curb lane restrictions on Tuesday, April 24 through Thursday, April 26 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The lane restriction is necessary for Cincinnati Bell to repair a telephone service, according to the city.

LIBERTY TWP:

Willow Ridge Drive will close on the west side of Ohio 747 beginning Wednesday, April 25, for approximately 30 days.

This closure is necessary for drainage, curb, and pavement work in conjunction with the Ohio 747 widening project, according to the Butler County Engineer’s Office.

MADISON TWP.

West Alexandria Road will close fsoutheast of Dickey Road and northwest of Michael Road for drainage improvements beginning Tuesday, April 24.

The road is tentatively scheduled to reopen the week of May 7, according to the engineer’s office.
