By purchasing gently used clothing and accessories, you are recycling another already manufactured item, thus reducing earthly resources to produce more.

Dawson said to “shop green” means to purchase material items that use the least amount of resources possible.
“Consignment can definitely help with that,” she said. “The biggest plus to shopping consignment is, of course, saving money, and lots of it. Many women come to our shop impeccably dressed with a fabulous wardrobe — all from consignment purchases. A lot of our merchandise still has tags on it.”
