Butler County bagel restaurant abruptly closes after 15 years

Skip’s Bagel Deli in Butler County recently served its last customer.

The business is just south of Ohio 129’s Cincinnati-Dayton Road exit and less than a mile from Interstate 75’s Liberty Way exit.

There was no further explanation posted to the door and the restaurant’s Butler County location has no Facebook page.

Skip’s Bagel Deli launched its first location in 1996 at 12092 Montgomery Road in Symmes Twp., then added a Skip’s Express @ Kenwood Towers. It opened its Liberty Twp. location in 2004.

 

The Symmes Twp. location, which is owned by the local bagel chain's founder, Skip Thole, remains open.
