INITIAL REPORT:
All four southbound lanes of Interstate 75 were shut down around 4:54 p.m. today after a woman on a motorcycle reportedly laid the vehicle down on the highway north of Ohio 129.
The incident happened around the 24.5-mile marker.
“We currently have four lanes shut down,” an Ohio State Highway Patrol dispatcher said. “We had one female injured.”
She was transported to West Chester Medical Center by an ambulance from Monroe.
“Vehicles are currently getting by on the right berm, but we’re about to open up the remaining lanes here momentarily,” he said.
The woman was conscious and talking to emergency crews.
“What our caller said was (she) just laid the vehicle down,” he said.
