Local alpaca farm to open gates for National Alpaca Farm Days this weekend

A local alpaca farm has announced it will open its gates to the public for the 15th Annual National Alpaca Farm Days.

Holdfast Alpaca Farms, located at 12026 Lower Valley Pike in Bethel Township, Clark County, in a release said the event will this Saturday and Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 1-5p.m. on Sunday.

Activities during the event will include meeting the alpacas, as well as hayrides, face painting, alpaca fleece and yarn sales, a photo booth, a food truck and other vendors, according to the release.

On social media, the farm said it has 19 new young alpacas, or cria.

Come to Alpaca Days and see our 19 new cria. Shown in the picture is our latest grey female cria with her mother and 2 half sisters!!!
