‘The Greatest Showman’ at Levitt Pavilion postponed

UPDATE @12:35 p.m. — The rescheduled screening of "The Greatest Showman" at Levitt Pavilion has been postponed in the aftermath of the Dayton mass shooting.

UPDATE @ 1:05 p.m. (July 21):

Due to weather concerns and safety of guests, the PNC Family Series movie night of the musical “The Greatest Showman” has been postponed to August 4 at 8 p.m.

“We have been monitoring the weather closely and due to the possibility of storms, we have postponed tonight’s movie night in the interest of safety,” executive director Lisa Wagner said. “Also, with the use of a projector and a large screen, the weather predicted for tonight would impede the overall quality of the presentation of the movie.”

FIRST REPORT:

Levitt Pavilion wants to give families who may be limited financially the chance to enjoy the movies. The downtown Dayton venue will be hosting a free family movie night on Sunday, July 21.
