Singers to revisit Poco, Pure Prairie songs

Two ex-members to take audiences back.

Rusty Young of Poco and Craig Fuller of Pure Prairie League will come together for an evening of classic-rock hits on Saturday, March 12, at the Fairfield Community Arts Center. The concert is sold out.

David Sheldrick, marketing specialist, City of Fairfield Parks & Recreation, said, “An Evening with Craig Fuller and Rusty Young is part of our Fairfield Signature Sessions series. It will be the two of them on the stage together. They are going to be highlighting many of the hits they had in their groups (from the 1970s and early ’80s).”

The duo will perform songs such as Poco’s hits “Crazy Love” and “Heart of the Night” and the Pure Prairie League’s “Amie” and “Let Me Love You Tonight.”

“There will be an intimacy with the storytelling, and the bantering that will go on between them throughout the evening,” Sheldrick said.

Firefall opened the season’s series back in the fall. This is the second year for the popular concert series.

The Fairfield Community Arts Center, is at 411 Wessel Drive, Fairfield. Show time is 8 p.m.
