It’s Troy Strawberry Festival weekend!

It will be easy to get lost in all of the strawberry treats, but while you’re in Troy, here are a few restaurants worth a visit — or a return trip if you’re overstuffed with berries.

This no-frills diner is a Troy treasure. Breakfast is served all day long at this classic stop that invokes a nostalgic feeling from the time you lay eyes on the neon. And besides the classic diner look, you can't beat the prices. Two eggs with toast and bacon, sausage or ham will set you back just $4.80.

K’s is most famous for it’s simple, tasty burgers and thick, delicious milkshakes.

If you’re thirsty for a tasty cocktail or cold glass of beer and some delicious appetizers, this is your place. Munch away on Mojo's Nachos ($9.99), Buffalo Goat Cheese, which is panko coated goat cheese balls drizzled with a buffalo blended butter sauce ($8.99) or MoJo Chips, a big basket of house made potato chips sprinkled with Mojos seasoning adding a little kick ($4.50).

If you are seeking a more robust meal, the pastrami on rye ($9.99) or the blackened tuna sandwich ($12.99) are both good bets. They have plenty of drink specials throughout the week including a Monday happy hour from 4-9 p.m. featuring $1 off cocktails, $2 domestic beers, $2 off all draft beer, $1 off all appetizers; $3.50 well drinks on Thursday; $1 off all premium wines and half off all house wines Wednesdays; $2 Domestic beers all night Fridays and Sangria Saturday.

For an appetizer, you can’t go wrong with Basil’s Signature Fries, with truffle infused sea salt, truffle oil and topped with a blend of Italian cheeses ($7), Jalapeno artichoke dip ($9) or the risotto tots ($10). For dinner, try the Lobster shells and cheese in a creamy smoked gouda sauce with grilled shrimp ($19) or the boneless short rib on risotto ($23)

Basil’s serves a Sunday brunch, which includes an omelet station.
