Violations: Observed several heavily scored/worn white bowls, salad dressing containers and lids, butter brush, and utensils stored in drawer; specifically, spatulas, spoons, and pizza cutters. The PIC will assign an employee do go through items and discard or remove uncleanable/unusable items immediately. To prevent contamination, materials that are used in the construction of utensils and food contact surfaces may not allow the migration of deleterious substances or impart colors, odors, or tastes to food and under normal use conditions shall be: Safe; durable, corrosion-resistant, and nonabsorbent; Sufficient in weight and thickness to withstand repeated warewashing; finished to have a smooth, easily cleanable surface; and resistant to pitting, chipping, crazing, scratching, scoring, distortion, and decomposition. The mop sink faucet does not appear to have any form of back flow prevention. The owner stated she will contact a licensed plumber for the back flow prevention correction. NOTE: A photo was taken of the mop sink faucet and validated by Warren County Plumbers to confirm the violation. To prevent contamination, a backflow or back siphonage prevention device installed on a water supply system shall meet American Society of Sanitary Engineering (ASSE) standards and as referenced in the Ohio plumbing code for installation, maintenance, inspection, and testing.
