Local police to receive free beef jerky

A company will give away hundreds of dollars of beef jerky away to police in a show of kindness and gratitude.

The Beef Jerky Outlet, which has a local presence in West Chester Twp., announced it would give away free beef jerky to local police near their outlet locations. The company will do this on Feb. 17 to celebrate National Random Acts of Kindness Day.

The Beef Jerky Outlet has more than 100 varieties and sizes of premium jerky, and has flavors like Prime Rib, Teriyaki and Buffalo. The stores also have dry rubs, candies and popcorn.

The chain has 80 franchise locations, and is headquartered in Tennessee. The West Chester store, which is located at 9409 Civic Centre Blvd., is the only store in Ohio.
