KitchenAid Experience store in Greenville to close in late July

Operations at the manufacturing plant and distribution center unaffected

The KitchenAid Experience, at 423 S. Broadway St. in Greenville, will close in late July, owner Whirlpool Corp. announced Wednesday afternoon.

The manufacturing plant and distribution center in Greenville are not affected by the retail store’s closure.

“Whirlpool Corporation is proud that the retail store has been embraced by the community, consumers, travelers and chefs from across the country for two decades,” the firm stated in a news release.

Greenville remains the home of the iconic KitchenAid stand mixer and other products assembled in America, the company said.

We are working to find out what led to the closure of the store, also known for its vintage marketing materials and live demonstrations.
