JUST IN: Allegiant offering new flight from Dayton to Destin

Allegiant today announced it will add a new nonstop route to Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport from Dayton International Airport beginning May 14.

The company is offering one-way fares on the new route as low as $55. The $55 introductory one-way fares offered must be purchased by Thursday, Jan. 16 for travel by Aug. 16.

“We’re excited to expand our network in Dayton and add another Florida destination” said Drew Wells, Allegiant vice president of planning and revenue. “We know area travelers will take advantage of our ultra-low-cost, nonstop flights to enjoy the Emerald Coast.”

The new seasonal route from Dayton will operate twice weekly.

“Allegiant is known for providing affordable flights to many popular destinations,” said Interim Airport Director Gil Turner. “By offering this new flight to Destin-Fort Walton Beach, Allegiant is able to give travelers even more options at the Dayton International Airport when they want to get away.”

The discout airliner also announced a new nonstop flight from Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport to Memphis beginning May 22.
