Dorothy Lane Market buys building for production of Killer Brownie

Dorothy Lane Market recently purchased a Miamisburg building that is related to the production of the grocer’s famous Killer Brownie, according to city leaders.

The nearly 27,000 square-foot building at 650 Precision Court was sold June 10 to DLM Properties LLC for $1,075,000. The deed address belongs to Dorothy Lane Market.

“We’re aware of the sale, the acquisition of that property. We have gotten an indication that it will be approximately 20 jobs there, give or take, and that it has something to do with the production of their Killer Brownies,” said Gary Giles, spokesman for Miamisburg.

The Dayton Daily News has reached out to Dorothy Lane Market for more details.

The grocery store currently has locations in Oakwood, Washington Square and Springboro and is famous for its Killer Brownies, which come in original, brookie, German chocolate, salted caramel, not-a-nutter, peanut butter, cookies and cream and blonde ambition flavors.
