Christ Hospital again named Greater Cincinnati’s most preferred

For the 20th consecutive year, The Christ Hospital has been named the Most Preferred Hospital in Greater Cincinnati and winner of the 2015 Consumer Choice Award presented by National Research Corporation, the health network announced Monday.

In the NRC independent survey of local households, The Christ Hospital ranked No. 1 in all award metric categories: Best Doctors; Best Nurses; Best Overall Quality; and Best Image and Reputation, according to the hospital network, which is currently building a new medical center in Liberty Twp. The main hospital campus is in Mt. Auburn.

“… Being one of the very few hospitals to win Most Preferred each year since inception means we are achieving our mission of improving the health of the community and creating patient value by providing exceptional outcomes, affordable care and the finest experiences,” said Mike Keating, president and chief executive officer of The Christ Hospital Health Network, in a written statement.

Winners of the National Research Consumer Choice Award are determined by consumer perceptions on rankings for best doctors, best nurses, best overall quality, and best image and reputation. This study surveys more than 290,000 households across the country. The survey data was collected from Sept. 1, 2014, through the end of Aug. 2015, according to information provided by Christ Hospital.
