101 acres of Warren County farmland wanted for housing

A property owner has requested rezoning of 101.6 acres of farmland at 2007 Lytle-Five Points Road for residential development.

The land, owned by Clark Ventures, is near the Warren-Montgomery county line.

It is on both sides of Lytle-Five Points Road, 36.7 acres on the south side to be rezoned to suburban residential zone, 64.9 acres on the north side to be zoned for residential zoning.

The rezoning would enable residential development to jump from 58 to up to 172 lots with sewer service, according a staff report by the Warren County Regional Planning Commission.

The owner plans to extend sewers from the Villages at Winding Creek.

The project is to be considered by the Warren County Regional Planning Commission Executive Committee on Thursday.
