Skies clear overnight; temps drop into the mid-50s

More clearing is expected overnight, Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Brett Collar said. Temperatures will drop into the lower to middle 50s.

Monday: It will be dry with some more sunshine, though a bit cooler with highs near 70 degrees.

Tuesday: Increasing clouds return with highs in the lower to middle 70s. There is the slight chance for a few showers, maybe storms late night.

Wednesday: The chance for showers and storms returns with highs in the middle 60s.

Thursday: A few lingering showers are expected, especially earlier in the day. Highs again will be in the mid-60s.

Friday: Partly cloudy skies are on tap. Highs will be in the lower 70s.
