DETAILED FORECAST

On and off rain is expected with more steady rain returning toward morning. Temperatures will hold steady, if not slowly rise through the 50s, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said.

Thursday: It will be unseasonably warm and breezy with on and off rain. A few thunderstorms also will be possible. Wind gusts of more than 30 mph will be possible with temperatures soaring into the lower 60s, then falling during the afternoon. As temperatures drop, some icy spots may develop Thursday night.

Friday: Skies will remain mostly cloudy with blustery, colder conditions. Highs will drop back into the middle 30s. There will be a chance for light snow or a wintry mix, especially south by late evening.

Saturday: A wintry mix of freezing rain, sleet and rain will be possible. Some accumulation of ice is also possible, especially in the morning. Highs will be in the lower to middle 30s.

Sunday: A wintry mix will be possible in the morning. Scattered rain showers will be possible by afternoon as temperatures climb from the upper 20s early into the upper 30s by afternoon.

Monday: Warmer, breezy weather is expected with on and off rain likely. Highs will top out near 50 degrees.
