Freeze warning takes effect overnight for most of region

A Freeze Warning takes effect from 2 to 9 a.m. Monday for Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Clinton, Darke, Greene, Logan, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Preble and Shelby counties, issued by the National Weather Service.

A Frost Advisory is in effect from 2 to 9 a.m. for Butler, Warren and Wayne (Indiana) counties and until 8 a.m. for Randolph (Indiana) County, issued by the NWS.

Clear skies are expected overnight. That will allow temperatures to fall into the lower to middle 30s. With calmer winds, there's a better chance to see frost early Monday, Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Brett Collar said.
