Flood watches in effect for parts of region until 7 p.m.

Rain will be likely and may be heavy at times. An additional 1 inch of rain will be possible overnight. Temperatures will hold steady around 50 degrees, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said.

A flood watch is in effect for until 7 p.m. for Auglaize, Darke, Logan, Mercer, Miami, Preble, Shelby and Wayne (Indiana) counties, issued by the National Weather Service.
