West Chester native tied fourth after opening round of Women’s British

West Chester native Marissa Steen fired a 5-under-par 67 on Thursday in the first round of the Ricoh Women’s British Open at Kingsbarns Golf Links in St. Andrews, Scotland.

Steen, a 2008 Lakota West graduate, is tied for fourth entering Friday’s second round. She’s three shots back of leader Michelle Wie, who shot 64.
