The Reds have long been out of contention, but is Joey Votto still the National League’s most valuable player?

MLB.com makes the case, pointing out his 1.045 OPS is greater than fellow MVP candidates Giancarlo Stanton and Paul Goldschmidt. He’s also walked 37 more times than Stanton, and 20 more times than Goldschmidt.
