Reds third baseman Eugenio Suarez hit his 13th home run, a solo shot in the bottom of the second inning Monday, but that didn’t make the matinee game against the Nationals much easier to watch so how about checking up on Cincinnati’s farm system?

Starting pitcher Scott Feldman lasted just one inning against Washington, surrendering five earned runs, but several minor leagues are rolling. At least AA third baseman Nick Senzel drove in the winning run Sunday for the Pensacola Blue Wahoos.
Odds were against Cincinnati before the game’s first pitch, as the Nationals are 13-0 when starting pitcher Stephen Strasburg pitches in a four-game series like this one. They’re 43-12 in his past 55 starts.
