Rival professional soccer teams FC Cincinnati and the Columbus Crew stood together for Dayton during Saturday’s match.
The players wore black armbands on their uniforms in honor of the victims of the Aug. 3 mass shooting in Dayton’s Oregon District that left nine victims dead and dozens injured.
Before the game, the payers also stood side-by-side as they held a large #DaytonStrong banner.
A video of the tribute posted to the FC Cincinnati’s Twitter account read: Bigger than soccer.”
