HS Roundup 3/7: Waynesville girls upset unbeaten SCD

Waynesville sent unbeaten Summit Country Day home with a 40-35 win in the opening round of the girls basketball Division III regional tournament on Wednesday.

Rachel Murray led the way with 15 points.

Waynesville advances to face Versailles, which blew past Williamsburg 70-27 on Wednesday.

That regional final will take place on Saturday at Springfield at 1:30 p.m.
