HS Roundup 2/7: Streaking ‘Creek wins 16th straight

Carmen Williams netted a game-high 20 points to lead the Beavercreek girls basketball squad in a 47-32 win over Centerville on Wednesday.

‘Creek improved to 11-0 in conference play and 17-3 overall. It also marked a 16th consecutive win after starting the season 1-3.

Sam Chable netted nine points for Centerville in the loss.

Girls Basketball

Trotwood 85, Stebbins 44: Trotwood tallied 30 points in two separate quarters in the blowout victory, improving to 13-1 in conference play.

Greenville 42, Piqua 28: Kelsey Magoteaux paced Piqua with 10 points and six rebounds.

Lakota West 47, Princeton 27: After a first quarter that saw both teams with only two points, West warmed up and Princeton stayed cold. Abby Prohaska led the way with 15 points and eight rebounds.

Fairfield 61, Middletown 47: Zahrya Bailey finished with 14 points for Fairfield, which built up 12-point lead at the half. Aliyah Burks led Middletown with 17 and Aubriana Bellard added 16.

Sycamore 51, Hamilton 46: CiCi Riggins tallied 21 points and Anna Cardwell had 10 for Hamilton in a losing effort.

Ben Logan 81, Graham 45: Brooke Johannes posted 19 points and Katelyn Nash 10 for Graham.

Jonathan Alder 75, Urbana 27: Alaina Lyons led Urbana with 14 points and Desirae Johnson hauled in 13 rebounds.
