Reife gets hole-in-one at Twin Run
HAMILTON — Jason Reife recorded his first career hole-in-one July 20 at Twin Run Golf Course.
Using his 9 iron, Reife recorded the ace from the blue tees on the 115-yard No. 4 hole on the way to a nine-hole round of 39.
He was playing with Rob Gllore, Joe Messer and Kellen Campbell in the Monday night Eagles League.
Millville team wins title
The Millville Community Baseball League 12-year-old all-stars won the Franklin County Invitational Tournament July 24-26. Millville defeated Connersville, Ind., who finished second in the state, by a 10-3 score in the title game. After struggling in their first tournament in Crawfordsville, Ind., July 3-5 the MCBL All-Stars rolled to three straight tournament victories.
Members of the championship team are Devin Bales, Corey Ballinger, Danny Carangi, Josh Gadd, Toby Grollmus, Craig Isaacs, Jerry Jones, Blake Keller, Devyn Paddock, DJ Reid, Dakota Stapleton, Dalton Whitaker and Johnny Winterrod. Coaches are Paul Ballinger (head coach), Sid Isaacs, David Reid and John Winterrod.
