Reds ace to play in All-Star Game for first time

Reds starter Luis Castillo is headed to the All-Star Game.

Castillo was named Sunday as one of 12 pitchers on the National League roster. It will be the right-hander’s first All-Star appearance.

Castillo is 7-3 with a 2.47 ERA this season in 17 starts.

The All-Star Game is Tuesday, July 9, at Progressive Field in Cleveland.
