High school girls basketball highlights for Thursday, Jan. 23

Lebanon 68, West Carrollton 30: Lebanon stayed in the Greater western Ohio Conference South Division title hunt with the road victory. Gracen Howard led the Warriors (11-4, 5-1 GWOC South) with 14 points. Freshman Rachel Perry added 10.

Preble Shawnee 50, Carlisle 46: The Arrows (6-7) rebounded from an overtime loss to Carlisle back in December, by outscoring the Indians (11-6) 28-11 in the fourth quarter to pull out the win. Adrianna Moore had a double-double with 19 points and 14 rebounds. Elise Walker and Maddie Woodard chipped in 11 points each for Preble Shawnee.

Eaton 62, Valley View 41: Eaton (12-4) remains a perfect 9-0 in the SWBL Southwestern Division, and holds on to a two-game lead over Bellbrook. Elizabeth Tolliver scored 16 points for the Eagles, and Danielle Karns added 15. Kilee Genslinger continues to be the hot hand for Valley View (9-6), scoring in double digits in all of the Spartans games this season. Genslinger poured in a game-high 24 on Thursday night.

Madison 37, Dixie 34: Madison snapped Dixie's four-game win streak, handing the Greyhounds (10-5, 6-1 SWBL Buckeye) their first conference loss this year. The Mohawks' Ally Hoskins put back a missed shot with 8 seconds remaining in a tie ballgame, drew the foul, and converted the free throw to hand Madison (10-8, 8-2) the three-point victory. Kylie Hundley led Dixie with 12 points.

Franklin 52, Brookville 35: Lindsay McNichols had 16 points and 8 rebounds for Franklin (8-9). Teammate Mackenzie Glenn added 14 points and 7 rebounds.
