Burrows was sixth (25:08.7) and Birdsall finished 16th (25:35.3) on the 8K course as the Norse totaled 113 points, trailing only Miami (58) and Shawnee State (86).

Ekberg has scored two goals and Lytle has one. The Spartans will host Westminster (Pa.) on Monday at 7 p.m.
