Report: Cincinnati Bengals request interviews with Rams assistant coaches

The Cincinnati Bengals have request to interview Los Angeles Rams quarterbacks coach Zac Taylor for their head coaching vacancy, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Taylor, 35, has coached six seasons in the NFL, the last two with the Rams.

In 2016 he served as the offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach for the University of Cincinnati.

The Bengals also have requested an interview with Rams’ tight ends/passing game coordinator Shane Waldron, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The Bengals on Monday parted ways with head coach Marvin Lewis after 16 seasons.
