The Bengals on Monday acquired tight end Thaddeus Moss on waivers from Washington.

Moss, a former teammate of quarterback Joe Burrow at Louisana State, spent all of his rookie season (in 2020) on the Reserve/Injured list with a foot injury.

Burrow and Moss teamed to win a national championship in 2019. Moss, 6-foot-3, 249 pounds, caught 47 passes for 570 yards and four touchdowns that season.

Moss is the son of NFL Hall of Fame receiver Randy Moss.
