Looking for another Miami Valley connection to the World Series?

We found one (other than Middletown native and young Cubs slugger Kyle Schwarber): Master Sgt. Alyson C. Jones sang “God Bless America” during the seventh inning stretch in Cleveland on Tuesday night.

Jones is a member of the United States Air Force Band of Flight at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and a graduate of Beavercreek High School.

According to her BAF bio, Jones has completed multiple tours with the USAF BOF as well as spending time with the Air Force Band of the Pacific (Elmendorf AFB, Alaska) and the Band of the USAF Reserve (Robins AFB, Georgia).
