New steakhouse with a twist opening this week

The Miami Valley’s newest steakhouse is days away from opening. 

 The Bison and The Boar will open to the public 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, according to a spokesperson.

The restaurant is located at 3377 U.S. Route 35 East in West Alexandria, the former site of Reflections restaurant. 

Like Reflections, The Bison and The Boar is owned Dan Appenzeller.

 

Under the direction of Isiah Davis, a 2005 Dunbar High School graduate, the restaurant will serve seafood, fish, pork and Ohio-raised beef, bison and boar.

“In order to be great, you have to serve great,” Davis told us for an article last month. “There is nothing better than to see someone happy eating something you have prepared.”
