Dayton restaurant saying ‘thank you’ with free coffee and tea, 20 percent off meals discount

As a thank you to customers, Kinde is offering tea and her Ethiopian coffee served free of charge as part of a Thanksgiving week special.

The purchase of a combo meal is required. Combo meals will be discounted 20 percent.

Coffee is typically $5 a person or $8 for two people. A cup of tea is $1.

The special will run during regular hour Monday to Sunday, Nov. 19 to Nov. 25.

“I want to say thank you to the whole community,” Kinde said, noting that she hopes groups of family members and friends take her up on their offer.

What: Nanya Café Thanksgiving Week Special

Where: Nanya Café, the Ethiopian restaurant at 6129 N. Dixie Drive in Harrison Twp.

When: Monday to Sunday, Nov. 19 to Nov. 25.

The restaurant’s normal hours are  11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Saturday;  1:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday. It will be open 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day.
