UPDATE @ 2:20 p.m.:

The woman injured when struck by a vehicle was transported by ambulance to an area hospital with a head injury, according to the county dispatch.

The accident happened on Hanover Street in front of the sheriff’s office, but details on the accident were not immediately available, according to dispatch.

INITIAL POST:

A woman was struck by a vehicle outside the Butler County Sheriff’s Office this afternoon, according to the Butler County dispatch.

The incident happened at around 1:40 p.m. today in the 700 block of Hanover Street.

Emergency crews just arrived on scene and do not have information on the woman’s condition.
