The Voice of America Athletic Complex has been selected to host the 2018 US Youth Soccer Region II Presidents Cup tournament in 2018.

The event, scheduled for June 14-18, 2018 will feature approximately 120 boys and girls teams in the 13-U through 17-U age groups competing for a Regional title and a berth to the 2018 US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup.

“The Voice of America Athletic Complex located in West Chester, Ohio, is a new destination for the US Youth Soccer Region II Presidents Cup, and we are excited to bring the event to a new top-of-the-line facility,” said Region II Presidents Cup Chair Chris Jamrozy. “With more areas in the greater Midwest looking to host the Presidents Cup, it shows the popularity and growth of the event. Southwest Ohio and Butler County will offer the participating teams more than just a great soccer event, but a great overall experience.”

“The Butler County Visitors Bureau is proud to partner with the Ohio South Youth Soccer Association to bring this high-profile event to West Chester in 2018,” said Mark Hecquet, Butler County Visitors Bureau executive director. “The US Youth Soccer Region II Presidents Cup will bring thousands of athletes and spectators to our community for the first time, further elevating Butler County as a premier destination for youth and amateur sports in the Midwest.”

The US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup competitions provide a progressive, competitive experience to US Youth Soccer teams from the state to regional to national level. Each US Youth Soccer State Association determines the path through which its state teams advance to the regional competitions. Regional winners of the 13-U through 17-U Boys and Girls age groups will earn a berth to the 2018 US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup.

The VOA soccer fields,, which are part of the VOA Park owned by MetroParks of Butler County, opened in September 2014 and have since been upgraded with lights and artificial turf at two of the fields. A field house is slated to be constructed at the complex. A number of soccer and other sports tournaments have been held there since the facility opened.
