Construction starts Tuesday on new roundabout in Warren County

Starting Tuesday, Socialville-Fosters Road will be closed at the intersection of Innovation Way for approximately six weeks.

Warren County Engineer Neil Tunison said the closure is needed to construct a new roundabout at that intersection, which is part of the overall work that is taking place on Socialville-Fosters Road that includes a new five-lane bridge and pedestrian walkway over Interstate 71 in Deerfield Twp.

The new roundabout is expected to improve the flow of traffic, increase safety and access and reduce congestion, according to Tunison.

All of the current construction projects are part of a coordinated regional plan taking place in southwest Warren County.
