This national retailer just opened its FIRST location in the region

National specialty retailer A.C. Moore opened its first Cincinnati area store in June near Interstate 71’s exit at Ridge and Kennedy avenues.

The new 19,787-square-foot store at 5387 Ridge Road offers more than 40,000 specialized arts and crafts products, plus home decor, custom framing and free floral arranging from in-store designers. A weekly "Kids' Crafternoon" arts-and-crafts workshop provides hands-on summer fun for children.

FIRST REPORT: A.C. Moore to open first Greater Cincinnati area location

A.C. Moore opened its first location in Moorestown, N.J., in 1985, and has since grown to 137 stores nationwide. It plans to open 13 new stores, including six in Ohio, by the end of this year. The retailer is also set to re-launch acmoore.com digital commerce this fall.

A.C. Moore offers an everyday 15 percent discount to college students, teachers and members of the military. Customers can also join the company’s free loyalty program that provides $10 back for every $200 spent, as well as a VIP loyalty program that offers customers an additional 5 percent off every time they shop.
