The new 19,787-square-foot store at 5387 Ridge Road offers more than 40,000 specialized arts and crafts products, plus home decor, custom framing and free floral arranging from in-store designers. A weekly "Kids' Crafternoon" arts-and-crafts workshop provides hands-on summer fun for children.

A.C. Moore opened its first location in Moorestown, N.J., in 1985, and has since grown to 137 stores nationwide. It plans to open 13 new stores, including six in Ohio, by the end of this year. The retailer is also set to re-launch digital commerce this fall.

Back-to-school sales starting early as first day approaches

“Over the past 33 years, A.C. Moore has been committed to providing affordable, high-quality craft materials to consumers all along the East Coast,” A.C. Moore President Anthony Piperno said in a statement. “We look forward to sharing our brand, products, and vision with the community, and providing inspiration and an impeccable customer experience to area artists, crafters, makers, and moms.”

A.C. Moore offers an everyday 15 percent discount to college students, teachers and members of the military. Customers can also join the company’s free loyalty program that provides $10 back for every $200 spent, as well as a VIP loyalty program that offers customers an additional 5 percent off every time they shop.
