OVI impaired driver checkpoint will be staged in West Chester tonight

The Butler County OVI Task Force has announced an OVI checkpoint will be staged in West Chester Twp. tonight.

The task force will set up a checkpoint at U.S. 42 and Regal Lane in West Chester Twp. starting at 8:15 p.m. and ending no later than midnight. The northbound lane will be checked.

Task force officials say the checkpoints, along with saturation patrols are part of continuing efforts to reduce OVI related crashes resulting in injuries and fatalities.
