Too much government interference

Can you say "too much government interference?" The federal government is mandating health care, taking over the auto industries, banks, and telling us what kind of food we should eat. The list goes on and on. Now our City Council appears to be doing much the same. Where is the outrage when council feels the need to tell us how many pets we are allowed to have? What happened to the freedom that we once knew in this country? Council needs to watch the dollars that they are so freely spending. ... What's next, City Council? Maybe how many cars a household can own or how many children we can have? Makes no sense.

I believe when people are getting repair work done to their homes, they should contact local home improvement people. I have done this and had quite good results. ... There are quite a few people out of work in Butler County and they could use this type of work.

I think the American people are ignorant. If you look at the labels where everything is made, you find nothing is made in the USA. Automobiles, electronics, appliances, shoes, clothing — you name it. You will not find it made in the USA. If it's not made in the USA, you have no jobs. If you have no jobs, you have no tax money to support our federal, state and local governments. I feel sorry for our children and grandchildren. We are leaving them the most poverty-stricken country in the world.

I am really shocked and surprised that the Republicans have hired such an incompetent advertising agency to do attack ads on the best governor that Ohio has had in 30 years. He at least deserves a first-class ad agency. They are totally ridiculous and unbelievable. I guess it's not easy to hire a reputable agency to do this kind of dirty work on a minister and the best governor that we have had in many years.
